Who doesn’t love eating a whole tin of brownies 🤷🏻‍♀️ at least these ones do have hidden veggies and are refined sugar free. They aren’t vegan but can easily be made vegan, with no dairy and not a massive amount of animal protein as I’ve recently been reading about the harmful effects animal protein has on our bodies Plus it’s link with liver cancer… when I’ve finished the world renowned “China Study” book I will post a little summary for you guys. It’s very interesting. Let me not ramble on too much since by the end of this week I’ll be releasing my most exciting and quite lengthy blog post yet with added features from a few fellow foodies (I’m so excited as I’ve been working on this for like 2 months). Look out for it ❤️

I’m not a massive sweet or chocolate fan so I didn’t make them too sweet if you do wish to make it more sweet you can add things like xylitol or coconut sugar but the caramel sauce is very sweet. You could also blend in a banana (high in sugar) into the wet mix for extra sweetness + then just add like 1 or 2 tbsp of the flour in the dry mix to balance it out. The chocolate may be a bit rich but I loved it. If it’s too rich you could add extra coconut cream or milk or but butter to the top choc layer or you can serve with strawberries, ice cream of your choice. If you live in capetown- lifeunframed is a vegan ice cream shop with flavors like; turmeric latte, chai spice, spirulina coconut, vanilla, etc. (if I lived in CT I think I’d live in there). Make this first and then place it in the fridge to cool 

oconut cream

1 cup honey

1tsp caramel essence

bring to boil. Once boiled reduce to simmer for 10 minutes (stir every now and then so it doesn’t burn), then place in a container & cool in the fridge

THE BROWNIE

150 grams zucchini

2 eggs

1 cup coconut milk/ almond milk

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup desiccated coconut

1 cup chick pea flour/ almond flour/ cassava flour

32g wazoogles chocolate protein (plant based)

3 tbsp cacao

1/2 bar of sugar & dairy free choc bar or any choc (broken into small pieces)

1tsp baking powder

zucchini, eggs, milk, honey and in a separate bowl add all the flours and dry ingredients, then combine the wet & the dry 🙆🏻

Place into a square brownie tin and cook for about 20 min

Once done allow to cool and then pour over the caramel sauce then again place in the fridge or freezer to cool.

choice (I used sugar free & dairy free) with 1/4 cup coconut oil

You could add a little bit of honey but i don't think it's necessary. They're sweet enough

Add 1tbsp of almond butter if you're a crazy nutter fan like myself

. Allow to cool for like 5 minutes and then pour it over the caramel then place it all into the freezer and allow to cool for about an hour or two. I actually left mine in the freezer over night and found that they tasted better in the morning but it’s up to you ❤️
