Whenever I make healthy/vegan brownies, they come out cakey. These were so dense, chocolatey and delicious! They’re also very easy to make!

  1. Mix 2 tbsp. of Flax meal with 6 tsp of water and set aside
  2. Preheat the oven to 180*c
  3. In a bowl mix together the melted coconut oil, nut butter of choice, coconut sugar and maple syrup
  4. Add the cocoa powder, 1/4 cup at a time.
  5. Add the salt and flax eggs. Its easier to mix with a rubber spatula or your hands
  6. Fold in the coconut flour and baking powder
  7. Fold in chocolate chips
  8. Line a brownie tin with some wax wrap/ baking paper
  9. Pop the brownie mixture into the pan and mold into a flat layer within in the brownie tin
  10. Bake for around 30 mins. If a knife comes out clean - then they're done. Mine baked for exactly 32 mins
